Mino ware is one of the traditional Japanese ceramics made in Gifu Prefecture.
Ichimatsu is equivalent to Checkerboard – a Japanese traditional pattern which used to be worn by Kabuki actors in Edo period.
The production of Mino ware covers more than 50% of the market share in Japan. It is normally used for japaneses. It can also have different shapes, colors and textures.
“Sake Set Ichimatsu Checkboard” has excellent shape of pentagon. It is very suitable for drinking any type of sake. In addition, it is best for hot sake.
(Junmai-shu, Honjozo-shu and Futsuu-shu often make a good candidate for hot sake.)
